Its been a tough year for B-School grads as they have seen the worst in recent years in placements. The scenario is same everywhere and it is proving to be very difficult to find a job of your choice which fits in all the parameters like profile, package etc. All the dream profiles and packages have suddenly dried up and what is there is the cruel ground reality. Good institutes like NMIMS, ICFAI are also facing difficulties in getting their students placed. Companies have almost gone into hibernation.
Still there are some sectors like Energy, Pharma etc. which are recruiting and colleges should look forward to them as an option. Also looking at the current scenario small and medium scale enterprises are more likely to recruit than big MNCs.
Entrepreaneurship can also be a good option for the more adventurous ones, as the proverb goes "Necessity is the mother of invention"
